Kachina Fine Jewelry was founded in 1988 under the name "Al Zuni Jewelry" and was located on Fifth Avenue in Scottsdale, Arizona. The retail store was relocated to it's current location at 99th Ave and Bell Road in Sun City, Arizona in 1995. Kachina Jewelry retails Native American Indian Jewelry, Art, Pottery and Artifacts and offers repairs for items by it's custom Silversmith. In addition the store offers exquisite selections of Gold and Diamond Jewelry as well as custom repairs and designs by it's master goldsmith.

The store owner Mr. Richard Engelgau has his background in Commercial Banking and is originally from the state of Michigan. He worked in the banking industry in states of Washington and Oregon before relocating to Arizona in 1980. During his tenure in Arizona Mr. Engelgau was named as President & CEO of three different state banking organizations with the latest on 7th Street & Camelback in Phoenix which was sold to Harris Trust Bank from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Engelgau brings his honest reputation from the banking industry to the jewelry business so that you can be assured of the quality of any purchase at the store.
